Adelaide Pickleball Club is South Australia's first pickleball club, created in 2021.

At Adelaide Pickleball Club, our aim is to develop competitive players and provide a playing environment that develops a high standard of play.

If you already know pickleball, our club is the place to hone your skills. You can enjoy mostly doubles play, and occasional singles play, with a range of different formats and partners to sharpen your pickleball in competitive play.

To have all your club questions answered, check our handy FAQ.

We play five social sessions each week based on skill level.

Advanced Skill Level. Thursday nights. Session is for players with a club rating of 3.75 or higher. Play is at Mile End Netball Stadium with four indoor courts, 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Intermediate Skill Level. Tuesday nights at Pulteney Grammar School with four indoor courts. 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Session is for players with a club rating of 3.3 to 3.749.

Intermediate and Lower Skill Level. Thursday nights at St John's Grammar School (Belair) with five indoor courts. 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Session is for players with a club rating of 3.749 or lower.

Lower Skill Level. Wednesday nights at Pulteney Grammar School with four indoor courts. 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This session is for players with a club skill rating below 3.3.

All playing sessions require bookings as there is a player cap on each session. Register for sessions at our Events page.

Make sure you select sessions that match your club rated skill level. Use the Pickleball SA Player Rating Guide to assess your own skill.

Each two-hour session is $9 for club members and $14 for non-members. Fees are collected using EFTPOS only at sessions. Playing equipment is provided with this fee.

Club membership is $80 (under 65 years) or $70 (65+ years) for 12 months. Join or renew your club memebrship at our Membership page.

Adelaide Pickleball Club travels to interstate and national tournaments, so join us if you want to play in competitive level tournaments.

If you are looking for a social playing session at a different location or time, or you are a complete beginner, the club suggest you start out at a session run by Pickleball SA: https://www.pickleballsouthaustralia.org/where-to-play/playing-venues
