New Players for 2024
If you did not register with Adelaide HC in 2023, please contact the club before proceeding further, at secretary@adelaidehockeyclub.com.au. If you get the go-ahead, come back to this website and click on the appropriate button below.
WARNING: Opportunities for new memberships are limited in some divisions. If you proceed with your registration, please note that we cannot guarantee you a place, but if a place is not available any fees paid will be refunded.
Important Points
- Please note that the Club has a strict "no pay: no play" policy and all fees are payable before you take the field.
- Fees shown for the Registration items in the dropdown list on the first page of the form include all Hockey Australia, Hockey SA and Club Membership fees. Transaction fees continue to be passed on to our members and will be extra. Payments to each organisation are listed separately at the end of the form.
- Club Membership fees are unchanged for the 2024 season.
- Playing coaches are still required to pay their registration up front, rather than offsetting it with their coach payment. They will be paid their coaching fee once the season starts, as per their agreement with the Club. This allows us to ensure a more equitable approach to coaching payments.
- Juniors' match fees are included in their registration but Senior teams pay match fees each week. We are continuing the use of the TeamPay app for match fees to make it a lot easier - check out the TeamPay website or the file below to see how it works. For step by step instructions and all the info that you need, such as team codes, go to this LINK. Seniors, please download TeamPay on your smart device and register your details before the season starts.
- Club communications and event ticketing will continue to be done on Stack Team App – please download Stack Team App from the Apple or Google app store. Sign up to “Adelaide Hockey Club” and request access to either junior news or senior news.
- Children born in 2009 or later who are wishing to play in the senior competition (i.e. would previously have played in the Under 15 competition or lower) must complete the Hockey SA Juniors playing Seniors – Parental Consent form.
- The Office of Recreation and Sport Sports Voucher (value $100) applies again, and remains expanded to R-9 Juniors (born 2009-2019). If your child is a regular player, you can add it after you have selected the age group listing. Fill in players can claim it at the end of the year. There is a range of specific information we need to collect as part of this process - we appreciate you tolerating any repetition on the registration form.
- If you are playing as a regular in two teams (for any 2 of U14/U16/U18 and Senior), you must register in your age group and then select the relevant Two Team Player Fee Add On on the first page of the form.
- Juniors who are only intending to play senior hockey should select the Junior Playing ONLY Seniors membership class. If you are playing in two senior teams, you should also select the appropriate Two Team Player option.
- If you want to register more than one person, you have to do them separately. However, we can link Members to minimise email correspondence. You can request the link within the form, but please email registrar@adelaidehockeyclub.com.au to make sure we don't miss it.
- Family discounts are offered where there are three or more family members from the same address. If you wish to apply for a family discount, please register and pay for all family Members, and request the discount at treasurer@adelaidehockeyclub.com.au.
- If you want to arrange a payment plan for your Club fees, please contact the Club before proceeding further by email to treasurer@adelaidehockeyclub.com.au. There will be a 5% admin fee added to your club fee and a deposit of $100 (individual) or $25 (per member for family payment plans) is required. Once the arrangements are agreed, you will be sent a link to allow you to select the required Hockey Australia and Hockey SA fees and to pay the deposit to the Club. You will then be invoiced as per your agreement with the Treasurer.
- If you have any difficulties, please contact the Registrar at registrar@adelaidehockeyclub.com.au.
Sign up for THE POD!
Each year, the Adelaide Hockey Club invites all members and others in the community with ties to the Club to participate in a program, affectionately named “THE POD”. Membership of THE POD provides access to certain benefits over and above those available to playing members of the Club while also supporting long term sponsorship of the Club and its financial sustainability.
Membership of THE POD is optional but membership allows members to contribute toward the Club’s ongoing success through the provision of funds towards the ongoing development of facilities and athletes at Adelaide Hockey Club. As a registered fundraising partner of the Australian Sports Foundation, a significant portion of THE POD membership fee is tax deductible for the donor. In addition to contributing to the Club’s financial security and growth, members are also offered exclusive rewards for their support.
In 2024 members of the Pod will receive:
- An invitation to a Premier League ‘Club Day’, inclusive of catering and special discount prices on all drinks purchased on the day;
- 10% discount on the ticket price for the Seniors Presentation Evening;
- Entry into a draw to attend one of the Hockeyroos games in May at Mate Stadium free of charge; and
- Their name added to the annual Pod Membership plaque, located on the Club’s website.
Membership fees for 2023 are $250, of which $200 is tax deductible.
We encourage all members and their friends to take up this great opportunity to help to secure our club's future - please refer to the attached flyer for more detailed information and a membership form.
