Terms of Registration and Waiver

Please carefully read and acknowledge the following terms and conditions for registration in our Volleyball Training Program:

1. Age Requirement: The training program is exclusively for children under the age of 18. Participants must meet this age requirement to be eligible for enrollment.

2. Academy One Volleyball Membership: All players must be registered as Academy One Volleyball Members prior to participating in the training program. Membership ensures access to our facilities, coaching staff, and additional benefits. For information on membership registration, please visit our website or contact our administration.

3. Consent and Waiver: By registering for the Volleyball Training Program, the participant's parent or legal guardian agrees to grant consent for their child's participation in the program. Furthermore, they acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with volleyball training, including the possibility of injuries. While Academy One Volleyball will take necessary precautions to minimize risks, it will not be responsible for any untoward events outside the insurance cover provided by membership to Volleyball NSW. Additionally, Academy One Volleyball will not be held responsible for any incidents occurring outside the official events of the A1 Volleyball Program, including casual volleyball activities with other clubs or groups.

4. Health and Medical Considerations: It is the responsibility of the participant's parent or legal guardian to ensure that their child is physically and medically fit to participate in the training program. Any relevant health conditions or concerns should be communicated to the coaching staff in advance to ensure appropriate precautions can be taken.

5. Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and a positive training environment. Any instances of inappropriate behavior may result in disciplinary action, including potential removal from the program without refund.

6. Photography and Promotion: By participating in the training program, the participant's parent or legal guardian grants Academy One Volleyball the right to use photographs, videos, or other media captured during training sessions for promotional purposes, both online and offline.

7. Liability Release: Academy One Volleyball, its coaches, staff, and affiliates will not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the Volleyball Training Program. Participants and their parents or legal guardians assume full responsibility for any risks and release Academy One Volleyball from any claims, demands, or actions arising from participation. It is important to understand that Academy One Volleyball will not be responsible for any untoward incidents outside the official events of the A1 Volleyball Program, including casual volleyball activities with other clubs or groups.

8. Changes and Cancellations: Academy One Volleyball reserves the right to make changes to the training program schedule, coaching staff, or other aspects as deemed necessary. In the event of program cancellation, participants will be notified, and any applicable fees paid will be refunded. - PLEASE KINDLY REVIEW THE VOLLEYBALL ATTENDANCE POLICY.

9. Please note that all class cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled class time are non-refundable unless having special  reasons. 
   
   

By completing the registration process, the participant's parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined above. They further affirm that all provided information is accurate and that they are authorized to grant consent on behalf of the participant.
