AGM nearly full

We have had a great response to the AGM flyaway and there are now only a couple of spots left for the social activities so register ASAP if you’d like to join us by clicking here: AGM Registration

If anyone is planning on coming just for the AGM itself, please let me know.  For those unable to attend in person, we will attempt to run Google Meet as well so you can participate online, but that will be subject to the facilities (especially the wifi bandwidth) available in Broken Hill that are beyond our control.  The Google Meet connection details are here:

Online meetings - Google Meet instead of Zoom

Members will know that we have been using Zoom for meetings for several years now through Covid and since.  We have now moved to Google Meet.  We have used this for the last few TechTalks and it works just as well.  This is part of a broader shift implemented by the Committee this year to move all our materials online into Google Workspaces as the central repository for ABS materials, and leave behind the world of paper documentation and to help us function as an organisation.  If anyone finds a material difference between Zoom and Google for our online meetings, please let us know.

We are working towards having our next TechTalk on Tuesday 19 November with a topic most likely on flying on extended trips - stay tuned.
