ABS August 2023 update

We start this update with sad news of the passing of 2 long-standing members as reported in the News section on revo: click on Carr Hordern and Neil Keller

AGM

A venue has now been settled on for our AGM this year at the Mercure hotel in Port Macquarie at 5pm on Saturday 28 October 2023. Registration is available AGM Registration – members will book their own accommodation with the hotel. A river cruise is organised for Saturday lunchtime and dinner Saturday night for which tickets are available on revo.

ATC visits

ATC visits have been arranged in Melbourne and Brisbane. If you haven’t previously registered but would like to attend, please register on revo and the relevant organiser will contact you if there is a remaining place available. We have limited numbers due to renovations underway at both facilities. Melbourne is on 22 August and Brisbane's date still to be finalised.

Maralinga

The Maralinga trip in September is now closed. We have 25 members visiting over 2 different days. If you haven’t registered but would now like to attend on either 19 or 21 September, please contact President BruceBaade. Those registered should have received more detailed information this morning by email.
