The 2016 Brass Monkey Boating Weekend was a huge success, with 93 Cubs, Scouts, Leaders and Adult Helpers converging on Westernport Yacht Club at beautiful Balnarring Beach to try or practice sailing, compete in the Brass Monkey Regatta, and be accredited in sailing and power boating activities through Yachting Victoria.

The past 12 months have been pretty busy for Alexander. He again qualified for the Victorian Sailing Team, the 2015/16 season being his 3rd time round.

Life Membership was bestowed upon Bruce and Margaret Douglas at the 2016 AGM.

Last Saturday the grassed rigging area was enlarged by about 50% by laying 112 square metres of couch turf. It certainly improved the appearance of our yard area.
