⚠️ Please note: Skate Synergy is an Artistic Roller Skating club only.
We do not offer membership for Roller Derby, Inline Hockey, or other roller sports.
Do not register without discussing membership with our coaches or committee first, as a minimum level of competency is a prerequisite for membership. See the Learn to Skate page for more information.
Registration and payment do not automatically guarantee membership.
All membership applications must be seconded and formally approved by the committee at the next committee meeting. If an application is not approved, a full refund will be provided.

2026 Membership Options and Benefits
Competitive Membership
For skaters who train and compete in artistic skating competitions at League, State, National or International level.

Suitable for skaters actively training and preparing for competition

Provides access to Local, State and National competitions

Includes the highest level of insurance coverage

Access to Skate Australia support services
Development Membership
For skaters who train regularly but are not currently competing.

Ideal for skaters building their skills and skating with the club

Includes access to training sessions and insurance coverage
Please note: Intra-club competitions are still considered competitive activity.
Skaters must hold a Competitive Membership to participate in these events.
Recreation Membership
For skaters participating in Learn to Skate or beginner group classes.

Designed for new skaters starting their skating journey

Provides insurance coverage while learning and developing basic skills
Associate Membership
For non-skating members involved with the club.
