QUT High School Esports

High School Events

QUT Sport hosts a number of events each year for local and regional high schools to participate in.

Run from the QUT Gardens Point campus, these hands-on opportunities give students the chance to explore their future at university and interact with other schools from across Queensland through friendly competition.

Our events are linked to STEM education and enable students to learn about emerging sport technologies including:

  • Esports
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality
  • Sport Simulation
  • Broadcast and livestreaming

Students also have access to game discipline related coaching and mentoring from QUT students working in the esports program. All of QUT Sport’s programs are underpinned by a strong focus on eSafety and governance frameworks, providing a safe and informed environment for competition.
