Category 2 Amended for HF Radio and Medical as Follows: Boats without HF Radio as outlined in AS SR 3.25.1 (a) (iv) and the course VHF Repeater Coverage, will be allowed to race with permanently installed VHF and MUST carry a satellite phone capable of sending and receiving voice and text message. This amends SI 17.1.2. Satellite phone numbers will be recorded and tests required prior to the race. The Category 2 medical kit will not be required to carry the following items as outlined in the AS SR Section 4: Morphine, Naloxone Hydrochloride and Ciprofloxacin.
All yachts must carry a tracking device supplied by the Organising Authority. Crew lists must be submitted to the OA on entry in the approved format as an excel file.
