Lasting memories and an amazing 50 year Celebration

We would like to thank all our members and supporters past and present who joined in our celebration. It was a wonderful night to look back on the history of Meteors Hockey Club and its epic journey and achievements. Super special to have the majority of our Life Members present to mark this milestone and thank you to everyone who travelled. A massive thank you to everyone involved in organsing the night. CONGRATULATIONS to Ryley Bobart who recently competed at the Hockey Australia Under 18s Championships. The team came away with Bronze and Ryley was reselected in the Under 18s Futures Squad. This is an amazing achievement as these players are recognised at a national level with a potential path to upcoming Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. We are all so proud of you Ryley.

Well done! - DJ Bobart, Lachlan Blackmore and Billy Price

CONGRATULATIONS - DJ Bobart, Lachlan Blackmore and Billy Price These boys were selected in the U15 squad of 60 players after the state championships held in Bundaberg last September. Since then they have been training hard leading up to the team trials which were held in Brisbane in February. Billy and DJ were selected in Team 1, Qld Maroon and Lachlan was selected in Team 2, Qld Gold. They only came together as a team in Brisbane for 2 days before heading to Newcastle for National Championship
