Winter hockey is nearly here
Not long now till our winter competitions begin for 2021. This year our senior competitions will begin on the 17th April with a finish date to be implemented once team numbers are known but both men’s and women’s competitions will be finishing on the same date.

Hi All,
Thank you all for signing up to the 1st ever Summer Ultimate disc event in Lithgow. We have 41 ultimate disc players for 2021 which is a great outcome for our first event.
Game time 6pm - sausage sizzle ready for after the game at $2 per sandwich and canteen will be open.
For those that nominated as a team, please pass information on to your team mates

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Friday Funday Summer Hockey.
We will have the music playing, the sausages will be sizzling on the BBQ for $2 a sausage sandwich.(so bring your change).
Summer hockey and Ultimate Disc Registration Details

Lithgow Hockey association in conjunction with Mudgee Hockey Association is calling for nominations for representative players for the following age groups: U11, U13, U15, U18, Open and Masters.
2021 HNSW Field State Championships - Officials
Welcome to the 2021 Field State Championships Field State Championships season. We are very excited to be able to move back towards our regular Field State Championship season following the cancellation of the 2020 events. Hockey NSW are calling for all officials to register their availability for the 2021 Field State Championships, please complete the EOI at the following link - https://www.hockeynsw.com.au/surveys/2065/
The expressions of interest will be Open until Sunday 21 February 2021.
What is Ultimate?
* Fun, Fast, Non-Contact and Self-refereed
* a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc (Frisbee). It is simple to learn, fun to play.
It combines elements of netball, touch football, and hockey into a fast paced, athletic sport.
*Competitions usually have co-ed teams, where men and women, boys and girls play together.
*the sport is self-refereed - due to the 'Spirit of the Game', players are responsible for adhering to and overseeing the rules themselves.
LIthgow Hockey Summer is back for 2021 and will include junior specific timeslots for the first time

Do you have Pre-loved hockey sticks, any size, laying around taking up room, making the place untidy.
Please email executive.lha@gmail.com or message us on 0419 471 140 and we will make arrangements to take them off your hands and they will be provided for our summer comp and come and try days
