Brisbane Water Aqualung Club (BWAC) is a fully registered not-for-profit independent dive club based on the Central Coast of NSW. The club was founded in 1959 and is the second oldest independent dive club in Australia.

Our core interest is diving the historical shipwrecks of the NSW Coast. Most of these shipwrecks are located in depths ranging from 15 to 60 metres. We also conduct regular shallower reef dives long our spectacular coastline.

The club owns and operates a dive boat which allows members to access some of the rarely dived sites along the coast, with dives being conducted most weekends. The club owns moorings at Ettalong, Terrigal and Swansea, this allows us to access most dive sites between Newcastle and Sydney.

Our regular dive sites include the wrecks of the Birchgrove Park, Tuncurry, Galava, Kiama, Nerong, Advance and Bonnie Dundee, as well as the many spectacular reef dives along our coast.

The cost for our boat dives are shared between the divers of the day, starting from $55 for a short run dive site like the Birchgrove Park and a fuel surcharge for runs to places like Long Reef.

Annual memberships are $100 for an individual, or $150 for a family. We also have a daily membership option if you'd like to come along to check things out.

If you have any questions, or would like to come along for a dive please don't hesitate to contact us at info@bwac.com.au. You can also check us out on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BrisbaneWaterAqualungClub/.
