The 2025 Australian Athletics Championships, held from April 4 to 13 in Perth, showcased exceptional performances from Bellarine Athletics athletes. Our competitors demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, with several securing podium finishes.
Four-time Paralympian Sam McIntosh has officially smashed the 17-second barrier in the 100m T52, clocking 16.89 (+0.1) at the ACT Summer Series in March. π¨π₯

Our clubβs success relies on more than just membership fees β the generous contributions from our sponsors help fund key activities, cover essential costs, and ensure we continue to grow and improve.
The Victorian Country Championships, held in Bendigo from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th January, were a tremendous success for our small but mighty contingent of just 15 athletes, who brought home an impressive 22 medals β 8 Gold π , 3 Silver π₯, and 1 Bronze π₯!
We had a very small number of athletes compete in Round 5, but despite the limited turnout, many delivered outstanding performances and achieved personal bests.
Round 4 of the season has brought some mixed results, we scored our highest points tally so far this season with a total of 11,373 points, however we're currently sitting in 10th place in Division 3.
In the latest round of the AVSL competition, our athletes competed at both Ballarat and Keilor. With another small team of athletes we still managed some strong performances across all age groups and events.
