Racing: ALL teams must confirm (e-mail to aoraki.dragons@gmail.com) no less than 1 week (7 days) prior to each event, so that the race draw can be developed.

To race in Aoraki Events, teams must be financially affiliated. Hence your Season invoice shows that a deposit is due a day or so before the Ice Breaker (end of November).

Season finishes in late March, when we hit the season finale of the National Championships regatta.

Training: For those who did not opt in for winter training, training starts after Labour Weekend (late October). Training comprises of one hour-long training sessions once or twice a week, in the evenings, or early mornings.

By exception, Aoraki may allow extra training slots. A third session may be approved as a one- off but is dependent on all teams having first been given their preferred allocated times and needs to be approval is at the discretion of the BoM.
